Delete your account and data
You can delete your account and all the data linked to it, right in the app or by email.
In the app
- Open Teranga Story and tap My account at the top of the screen.
- Tap Delete my account and books.
- Tap Confirm: delete everything for good.
Your account is deleted right away.
By email
Email bonjour@terangastory.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you sign in with Apple or Google, please say so. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, then we delete it within one month at most and let you know.
What gets deleted
- your account and its email, Apple or Google sign-in;
- your saved children (name and look);
- your books and their dedications;
- your unlocked stories and sign-in sessions.
This data is permanently erased from our servers.
What isn’t deleted automatically
- your subscription: cancel it in your Apple or Google Play account settings;
- what’s on your device (offline books, voice recordings): delete them in the app or uninstall it;
- your waitlist sign-up, which is separate from the account: ask us at bonjour@terangastory.com.
